Bayer Deceptive Marketing Lawsuits

Bayer has been a bad boy and the FDA called them into the office and said, "Fix those misleading ads." And Bayer did.

Should that be the end of Bayer's punishment?

No. $20 million in corrective advertising is an aspect of liability. Whether or not Bayer admits wrongdoing, they were ordered to correct misleading ads. Now new ads are running even though there are hundreds of lawsuits, deaths from blood clots and heart attacks, and sufferers of debilitating and life threatening side effects like gallbladder disease. Read the Side Effect of Yasmin reported in the FDA reports.

But, what about the women who died or lost their health and vitality because of taking Yaz and Yasmin because of these misleading ads? Perhaps, their healthcare professionals would've prescribed a more suitable medication. Perhaps these women would not have asked their doctors and nurse practitioners for Yaz and Yasmin if they were correctly educated about the product from the advertisement.

$20 million in corrective advertising does not make it right. It further proves that Bayer was wrong.

Bayer is no stranger to misleading advertising which makes it all the more worse. In the past Bayer's commercials have falsely claimed that Bayer One A Day vitamins claimed the product could prevent prostate cancer; that One-A-Day WeightSmart vitamins could help with weight loss; and the All-Day Energy multivitamin didn't last all day as advertised. Advertising for claims made about Aleve pain reliever and Ascencia diabetes blood glucose monitor were also questionable according to the Better Business Bureau’s advertising division.

There is no way money can ever replace the loss of a beloved wife, mother, sister, or daughter. What you can do as a consumer or relative to a consumer who has been harmed by the misleading Yaz ads is recommend that your loved or you file a Yaz or Yasmin lawsuit on their behalf to recoup medical expenses and loss of life or vitality.

People must fight multi-billion dollar drug corporations. That’s the least you can do for yourself or a loved one whose life has been taken because of the need for corporate greed.
